In principle, all the ingredients that your pet can tolerate are suitable for baking homemade cakes for dogs. Many recipes contain oatmeal or flakes, cream cheese, eggs, meat, and fruits or vegetables.
For the sake of the fur’s health, avoid sugar when making homemade cakes and biscuits for dogs. Fruits, such as bananas or berries, provide enough sweetness for a delicious cake. Chocolate and raisins are toxic to dogs and are therefore banned.
You don’t need any special kitchen equipment to make dog biscuits. The mixer, the bowls, the cake tins, the baking tray – and, of course, an oven – are all you need.

Caution: Never use human chocolate because it is poisonous to dogs! Additionally, the recipe is very heavy on the stomach and is only suitable for dogs weighing 25 kilograms or more. If your quadruped is smaller, only give it one piece a day.
Preparing the dog cake
To bake the dog cake, you must first peel the carrot and grate it. Then peel the banana, cut it into small pieces and add the banana pieces to the grated carrot. Separate two eggs and add the egg yolks to the fruit and vegetable mixture. Mix everything well.
Heat the coconut oil a little until it becomes liquid and dissolve the special chocolate drops for the dogs in it. Add the chocolate mixture and dog oil to the mixture of carrots, bananas, and egg yolks.
Then add the millet flour. Mix everything well again until a nice dough is formed.
Divide the dough into two small shapes – one with a diameter of twelve centimeters and one with a diameter of eight centimeters. You will need different diameters so that you can easily place the dog cake layers on top of each other later. Don’t forget to grease the forms with a little coconut oil beforehand.
Then bake the two countertops for 35 minutes at 180 degrees in the circulating air oven.
Remove the two cakes from the oven and let them cool. In the meantime, you can prepare the cream: lightly heat the coconut oil so that it becomes liquid. Then mix the low-fat cheese, oil, and egg yolk.
