Salmon with vegetables

There is no need to talk about the benefits of adding fish meat to the diet; they are similar to humans and dogs.

For this recipe you will need:

  • Skin salmon (about 30 g for every 5 kg body weight of the dog)
  • 2 tablespoons olive oil
  • A small pumpkin pie
  • A broccoli
  • 3 potatoes
  • 2 carrots

Clean and cut the broccoli, carrot, pumpkin, and either steam or bake until soft.

Bake the potatoes in the oven.

Fry the fish in a pan, in olive oil, at medium temperature, with the skin down. Turn so that it is well browned on both sides.

Once all these ingredients are ready, mix until smooth and divide, if necessary, into several pieces for several meals.

Chicken with rice

For this classic recipe you need:

  • A cup and a half of brown rice
  • A tablespoon of olive oil
  • 3 kg minced turkey
  • 3 cups chopped spinach
  • 2 sliced carrots, or grate
  • A sliced zucchini
  • Half a cup of peas

In a large enough saucepan, prepare the rice according to the instructions, then let it cool.

Heat the olive oil in a large pan, add the turkey meat and stir constantly until it turns golden.

In this mixture add the boiled rice and vegetables and mix until the result is perfectly homogeneous and the spinach has softened well. It usually takes 3-5 minutes, depending on the intensity of the fire.

Allow to cool and portion for several meals.

Beef with vegetables at the crockpot

This recipe has two important benefits: it includes beef, a rich source of iron, and it is cooked at a low temperature, which means that vegetables will contain vitamins better.

For this recipe you will need:

  • 1 kg of minced beef
  • A cup and a half of diced pumpkin pie
  • A can of boiled and drained beans
  • A cup and a half of diced carrots
  • Half a cup of peas
  • A cup and a half of brown rice

An important point that deserves to be made at this point is that vegetables can be adjusted to the dog’s preferences: you can replace vegetables that he does not like with others, which are his favorites, or with those that you are interested in being part of his diet, to prevent or correct certain deficiencies.

All the ingredients for these delicious recipes are mixed well with 4 cups of water in the crockpot, after which it is left to cook for a few good hours; we recommend a longer period (minimum 5 hours), at a lower temperature, for better storage of nutrients.

Turkey puree with vegetables

This recipe is suitable for both chickens and adults. It is also suitable for overweight dogs, as it has a relatively low carbohydrate content.

To prepare it you need:

  • 1 kg lean minced turkey meat
  • 2 tablespoons finely chopped chicken or turkey liver
  • Cauliflower
  • Half a zucchini, sliced
  • 2 medium carrots, cut into pieces
  • Broccoli
  • 2 tablespoons olive oil

Steam the carrots for about 10 minutes, until they begin to soften.

In a frying pan, cook the turkey meat and liver, at high temperature, until well done.

Once the carrots are ready, add the rest of the vegetables (which boil faster) and continue to steam until soft. Stop the process before it starts to crush. Once the vegetables have cooled, you can cut them by hand or put them in the food processor to bring them to the desired consistency.

For these delicious recipes, you need to mix the vegetables well with the meat and add olive oil. Continue to mix until the ingredients are well blended. Allow the food to cool and divide it into appropriate bits. You can keep it in the freezer for longer.

Meatballs

Is your mouth already watering? We have a recipe specially adapted for puppies, with the best quality ingredients.

You need:

  • 4 kg minced beef, minced
  • 3 slices of bread, cut into small cubes
  • 2 cups oat bran
  • 3 cups pumpkin puree
  • 4 boiled and mashed carrots
  • The leaves of 4 kale cut into small pieces
  • 4 eggs
  • Flour

Of course, the delicious recipes can be adapted for smaller quantities, if you do not have space in the freezer.

Put all the ingredients in a large enough bowl and mix well until perfectly blended.

The meatballs are formed, of the desired size, adapted to the size of the dog. Optionally, they can be rolled in flour, shaking off excess flour before being baked in a preheated oven. Baking time varies depending on the size of the meatballs.
